Balloon Launch and Wairarapa College Gala
Wairarapa College
An evening of fun, food and family entertainment with balloons launching
in and around the college grounds, combined with all the fun of the annual
College Gala. Free entry.

Burner Parade
Carterton town centre
Balloon pilots parade through Carterton's main street with their balloon baskets and burners, putting on a fiery display. Free entry.

Saturday 19 March |

Splash 'n' Dash
Henley Lake, Masterton
Balloons launch upwind of the lake and attempt to splash their baskets into the water to score points. Multiple attempts can be made.
An exciting competition event! Free entry. |

Night Glow (go to Night Glow page)
Colin Pugh Sports Bowl, Masterton
A magical evening for the whole family and the festival highlight. Tethered balloons light up the night sky in a dazzling display of colour, choreographed to music. Bring the whole family and a picnic. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. Gates open 6.00pm. Family entertainment from 6.30pm.
